No one can deny the heart-healthy benefits of consuming a good quality olive, and why not make it more delicious with this olive oil bread dip. Anyone can make this restaurant-style olive oil bread dip which is great for entertaining or just for yourself. It’s so good and super easy to make. You can add more garlic for a garlicky bread dip or add more of your favorite herbs. It’s hard to go wrong on this one! You can even use a different infused olive oil instead of the suggested garlic olive oil. Perhaps try it with our Chipotle Olive Oil for a slightly smokey spicy flavor or even our popular Tuscan Herb Olive oil. To make it Dairy-free, you only need to withhold the Parmesan, and it’s still very flavorful.
Add to small bowl garlic, capers, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and grated cheese. Press and mix the ingredients and place the herb mixture on a dipping plate. Drizzle the olive oil on top. Add salt and pepper to taste. For a spicy olive oil bread dip, add crushed red pepper flakes. Serve with your favorite crusty bread. Enjoy!
This pumpkin bread is a two for one special; you get the benefit of incorporating a good for you fat and you get a lovely taste of orange essence in this loaf. By using the whole fruit fused blood orange extra virgin olive oil, the orange flavor is just right and not too overbearing.
What you’ll need:
1 cup unbleached flour
1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour (or only unbleached flour may be used)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan with olive oil and set aside.
Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg in a bowl. In another bowl, beat together blood orange olive oil, brown sugar, honey, and eggs really well. You may use a cake or electric mixer. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in the bowl. Gently combine the ingredients together being careful not to overmix. Be sure to capture all the flour when mixing. Pour batter into greased loaf pan, spreading evenly. Bake in oven for 45 – 50 minutes or until a tester comes out clean. Remove from oven and transfer to wire rack to let it cool for 10 minutes. Then remove loaf from pan and allow it to completely cool. Slice and eat!
This is my Go To recipe for quick and easy garlic bread by substituting garlic olive oil for butter. You just need three ingredients; So Olive Garlic Olive Oil, your favorite bread, and dried parsley flakes. Grab a basting brush and brush the olive oil on the bread together with the dried parsley flakes, and pop it in the oven at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
While taking it out of the oven, smell that garlicky goodness, then slice, and enjoy. Yum!
